The Register of Ibero-American Museums

The Register of Ibero-American Museums (RMI) of the Ibermuseums Program is a digital platform to promote knowledge about Ibero-America’s museum diversity.

In addition to providing basic data on each institution, the RMI website also offers a wealth of information on the history, address and contact information, services, activities and presentation images. The data collected is institutionally endorsed by each country under international cooperation activities and through the Ibermuseums Program.

Developed by the Ibero-American Observatory of Museums, the Ibero-American Museum Registry makes it easier for government agencies and competent museum professionals to exchange information and contributes to the promotion of collaborative networks between institutions.

The available information is updated periodically. To include your institution in the RMI, please contact the representations of Participating Countries. They are responsible for forwarding the data to the RMI and endorsing their accuracy.
