Conversaciones

Conversaciones is a biennial public call for support and encouragement for curatorial projects. Every proposal should be prepared by institutions from at least two countries, one of which a member of the Intergovernmental Committee of the Ibermuseums Program.

Between 2010 and 2011, it funded initiatives for the conceptualization, research and organization of exhibitions. In 2015, it became biennial and expanded its scope to include the production and circulation of exhibition projects.

In 2017, the public call for proposals switched its theme to «Museums and communities», focusing on actions for social appropriation of memory and cultural and natural heritage and their valuation.
