After 10 years, the Ibermuseums Program is proud to have contributed to many of the goals proposed in 2007. The program celebrates this milestone with the publication of an overview of these ten years in three languages: Portuguese, Spanish and English.

Summary

This publication presents the results of 10 years of work and includes reflections by some who have been involved in this program. It reflects the inclusive and diverse nature of Ibermuseums and invites us to take a critical look at the course we have taken so far to develop new projects and identify future opportunities in the vast field of museology.

The 50-page document gives an overview of the Ibermuseums’ activities in the last decade to transform this dream into a reality. It also includes reflections from important key players in this Ibero-American partnership, such as the Ibero-American General Secretariat (Segib), the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI) and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (Aecid), on the Program’s achievements and challenges.
